About Us

The ClapHandies journey started in 2006 when I found myself at a bit of a crossroads. I’d just had my first child and was considering a career change. 

At the time, Ireland had limited options for baby and toddler activities so, given my background in children’s theatre and business, I decided to create something new. 

The initial months were spent workshopping with experts in early childhood development, experimenting with activities and refining the program. 

From there, we started with 3 venues which have grown to xx (and counting!) across Ireland and over 10,000 graduates.

I believe the key to our success is the constant drive to deliver the very best class. We’re always observing our PlayLabs, listening to our customers and leaders and adapting. I’ll never stop working with my team to bring fresh ideas to make classes more fun, run more smoothly and be more enjoyable. 

But ultimately, our success is down to our supportive customers. We survived a recession and multiple lockdowns (where ClapHandies at home was born) thanks to you. Word of mouth is the best marketing we could hope for and thank you for all your support.
